Great location and great vibe in the heat of the Costa Brava

Fantastic location and fun style in the picturesque beach town of Llafranc. Little coffee/snack stations on each floor were a nice touch. And the staff was super friendly and helpful.

Normal double rooms are a bit small. And the restaurant food nothing special. No minibar in the small doubles. And no safes in the bedrooms.

Loved it. Will recommend and return!

We loved our stay at Isabella's. The hotel is incredibly stylish, great staff and wonderful breakfast. Location could not be better with the beach only steps away from the hotel.

There were a few niggles with our dinner each night, but it was resolved quickly by the hotel staff.

Friendly and relaxed boutique hotel on the beach

The decor and setting on the beach. It was quiet and relaxing in May

Not much explanation from the staff of facilities. We only found coffee and water facilities by accident. The breakfast was not explained and it was a bit hectic to get all the food you wanted and take it outside to the terrace. The staff were friendly and kind but mostly very young and needed more training except for the receptionist and maitre d.

The perfect getaway for a couple. The hotel and resteraunt exceeded our expectations.

The free breakfast was really good. Great location in the town. The hotel resteraunt was amazing. The junior suite had an amazing heated plunge pool and view.

The location is fab and I would return, but be prepared for a quirky stay.

Location is superb, right on the beach front. The terrace is perfect for breakfast, very pretty view. Maid service was very good, clean and thorough. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, and some waiting staff too. Good air con. Breakfast was very laid back and comfortable with lovely fresh juice and fruit. Good cheese selection and a variety of pastries etc. Dinner was very good, we all enjoyed our meals and the service was good on Monday 4th.

The rooms are slightly ‘tired’. It’s not 4 star plush, but more quirky. I forgave all the idiosyncrasies because of the superb location. The directional shower head was leaking and shot water everywhere, but the sunflower shower head worked fine. No shower curtain. The sink tap handle fell off in your hand, but it didn’t spoil my holiday. My son stayed in the junior suite and loved it, but the main window had a fab electric shutter, but the door to the terrace didn’t have a blind/curtain at all ????. The toilets in the restaurant area are weird, I have never experienced a set up like this with gents and ladies in the same room separated by a curved wall. Again, quirky. The restaurant staff were hit and miss, some lovely and others the opposite. I was refused a drink at 7.30pm and told to come back in half an hour. I said we were resident, but it made no difference. 10 minutes later the same waiter was serving people on the terrace!

Enjoyable but scope for improvement.

Excellent location by the beach with attractive dining facilities and a delicious breakfast.

The bedrooms are a bit tired and have a lack of furniture. The air conditioning is poor. The staff were not very communicative.

the area to take a bath could have a courting or something to keep the water inside de duche. every time apue take a bath the entire room is a mass.

Very Good

The hotel is beautiful stylistically and is very clean. The breakfast each morning in the restaurant was really nice, and the food in the evenings was lovely - though we found that you had to book a table in advance.

the air con wasn’t great. The parking was expensive, though the staff very kindly showed us where the free parking on the street was, however on a weekend this is hard to come by.

Beautiful boutique hotel

Location, right on beach. Breakfast was excellent as was dinner in evening. Really enjoyed our time overall and very relaxing, with exception of some late night and early morning noise from within hotel.

Room 101 at top of a stairwell that leads to bar and dining area. First few nights this was open resulting in a lot of noise form these areas late at night and early in morning. There was a door which was closed on some nights which helped.. Some staff a bit inexperienced leading to inconsistent service. In room coffe/tea making facility would be nice to have.

Great potential, but left lacking

Isabella’s is in a great location, right on the beach front. the room was small (as expected), but had nice design features.

maybe it’s because the hotel is relatively new, but the service levels was really inconsistent. We requested an Iron, but were told no ironing board and to iron on the bed. Later in the week, upon requesting again, an ironing board appeared. Laundry was a similar experience. The ground floor restaurant was fine for breakfast, but the service at nice was well below par.
